    Swappable parts?

You could well be right Frank, I just remember Rob changing the wings as well on his car (post 73) and they do look different to me around the headlights Stuart

    Swappable parts?

Wings as well Frank :) Here's Rob's thread of how to spoil a good car (sorry Rob) I liked the car just fine when he first bought it http://www.micra.org.uk/threads/8695-Robs-Micra-Thread/page2

    Swappable parts?

People usually go the other way, you'd have to change the wings and bonnet too, perhaps a better option would be to source some early painted bumpers, nearly everyone prefers the original shape to the facelifted one.

    Oops... Not good!

I have a feeling I need to do some alternator belt work too, had a flat battery yesterday, swaped the battery for a spare and fired her up and then noticed that the air-con pulley wasn't turning, but the belt seems to slide freely round, I have a feeling it may have been like this a while, but...

A bit off topic sorry... You have an awful lot of wires in the sky in your part of the world, a shame more aren't burried in the ground.

1275: It'd probably easier for him to just buy a set of hurricane extractors, rather than stuffing around welding cast iron :P I'd agree, here in the UK it seems that the 1st cat is more or less essential for passing the emisions test at MOT time every year. Have you got a link to the...

Don't laugh too much about the mesh. Hopefully you'll give each mod a measured assessment of the before and after performance of each mod as you do them. A frankspeed cast manifold mod is also something you should consider.

    Fuel Economy Questions

I get between 6.1 and 6.3L/100kms from my 1275 K11 driving in the hilly pennines of England, that includes brisk driving over some of the best roads in the UK. No chance of me beating any records. This evening I got a friendly wave from a 5-series BMW driver that had struggled to stay in touch...
