ha that it lol... what are the gains from one of the modified manifolds that frank does? and do you need to tell insurance about it?

hi i am just wondering what sort of power i am running with the following mods done to a 1.3 16v 1993 micra lx: janspeed decat 1.0l middle section ( no silencer) almera airbox and ducting to grill ( see blog) back box i dont have enough for rolling road atm and i just want an estimate...

i mite have to join as i am near squarepants lol...

it could be the common MAF sensor problem in the throttle body. mine had these exact symptoms on my old 1.0l L and resoldering the contacts cured the problem.

are these the same ones as the mini ones?

thought so :( i have just been to the local mechanic and he said that that there might be no oil in even though the light is not on soo it looks like its just a case of getting some oil and a filter lol..

agreed .The direct access route for bikes is like jumping off a cliff its that dangerous.

its on 86k and yes it has started to kick out a bit of smoke from the exhaust sinse i fitted the decat . and it spewed a black liquid which looked like oil from the exhaust aswell .. but it only does this occasionally. iv been camping in birchover woods :P was mint and ye i should be able to...

almera airbox, janspeed decat, backbox makes a good sound and a decent increase too :)

my car has just started to sound very much like a diesel at high revs (4.5k+) and the oil light keeps appearing when i go around corners fast. i have topped the oil up several times in the past few weeks but the problem is still there ... any help would be good :)
