I used 4 small spade connectors and checked on the haynes wiring diags (back of the book) which channel was which.

Have you replaced the fuel filter as well? Alot of people forget about this and it causes some fueling issue if dirty enough. My old 1ltr K11 had this issue, check the fuel comments that people have left however I'd check the sparks as well to see if your getting the correct firing order etc.

sounds like the plate or the thrust bearing is on its way out. I had to change mine at around 70k. I'd recommend replacing the whole clutch. A garage quoted me £80 labour plus parts.
