Yeah they do. Guys are even saying don't bother with Stage 2, its hardly even noticeable. That tells me the factory exhaust and air flow is pretty good and not worth messing with for minuscule gains. So you either stop at Stage 1 or you go all the way to Stage 3/4 and replace the turbo.

If you tried to max everything out to beat a GTR you'd end up needing to increase engine capacity in the end. 2L would not be enough no matter how much boost you ran etc :P

Hmm this should get the car to about 4.7secs 0-100kmh which is about what an M3 does. But I just read that an R35 GTR does about 3 seconds flat? ****!!! I'm still such a small fry :)

Close enough to 1500kg still.. Quite heavy for a hatch, so I think it needs the power boost! :)

Lol. Only about $1500 which is the main attraction for me. It's a huge gain for the relatively small outlay considering.. But once you step up to Stage II and III the % gains get way less and the cost goes way up. So honestly think I could never be stuffed, unless I stumble across a random...

I got a full sized washing machine in the back of blue monster with the rear seats removed with my artificial MDF floor thingy.. It was registered legally in the ACT as a "2 seater van" :P

Hired one in Okinawa and drove around the island for 3 days. They are very practical and plenty of storage space and head room. Fairly gutless, but just a good, simple, practical little every day bus I reckon. Very funky and fun though. I reckon they are cool.

No micras for me any more :( APR Stage I gives you a massive improvement for the small out lay and then its the law of diminishing returns after that. I.e. you spend more and more for Stage II and III and the gains become smaller and smaller on a percentage basis. Not going to be anal about...

Picked it up on the weekend, absolutely sparkling.. 6-speed twin-clutch DSG gearbox (which is insane!), leather interior/seats, adaptive chassis control, 19" talladega rims and reverse camera to name a few of the options. Runs great and really happy with it. Definitely the best car I've had. So...
