sounds to me like it might also be the connection, as in old monitor issues when the 15-pin din, that only in fact connect 8-9 pins but if one of the 1/2/3 pins are loose it will cause it to go out of sync also the old RGb stuff, not sure if the xbox works on this principle though...

nop use to be able to put a drill in reverse however lots of cars were being clocked to show the wrong digits, meaning a lower than it was you could try it witht he k10 set though im not sure if any one has tried it havea search im sure there will be something over the years

just a shame it so far away eyeing up a golf for now then will keep my eyes out for a cheap k10
