would have to agree, when i put a k&n filter on the throttle body for my old k10 it felt the most responsive over the standard airbox and definitely made the most noise. i have purchased a K&N cone filter for my K11 off scottish SR and will be putting this straight on to the throttle body.

you dont need spring compressors for a k11 it can be done and has been done without too much effort! :)

Cheers Chris great job. I think i will put my old wheels off my k10 on my k11 now. I was going to sell them but wont now as they suit the new car quite well. Silver and white suit the car well. the black doesnt go well with the green though

Just a few pics of my new motor. Standard at the moment apart from sound system installed at the weekend. Got a few plans for it though, including alloys, lowering and induction kit.

It works fine though, is there any advantage of doing this?

jacked the car up, levered open the pipe just before the heat shield with a flat headed screw driver and flicked the metal and stones out with the screwdriver. Its only a 5 minute job.
