Around town is fine even in high revs. I put a new fuel filter on yesterday but that hasnt made a difference. Im considering taking my K & N air filter off to see wether that will make a difference. Ive had the filter on for a year though without any problems.

As far as i know, neons are legal if you cant see the tubes and just the glow, regardless of the colour. However if the tubes can be seen then they will be illegal. This would mean that coloured LED wash jets would be illegal because the LED can be seen.

Go as a named driver under your mum/dads name in first year and it will make it alot cheaper. My first year was £900 for a 1.0 k10 under my mums name. 2nd year under my own name £683 with 0 years no claims bonus. and now its £511 with 1 years no claims bonus. Thats with Admiral

i would say that a 1.0 k11 would be about the same as 1.2k10 or if not the k11 should be abit quicker because its alot newer then the k10.

Its not lowered. Still on standard suspension, With the car being 16 years old the suspension is pretty soft, so when cornering the tyres rubbed on the rear arches, this was until i rolled the arches. Now they dont rub at all.

i would go for the bolt on. To be honest the performance gains between the replacement element and the bolt on will be small. The bolt on also sounds nice because the noise isnt restricted by the air pan. I ordered my K&N bolt on from halfords for about £50.

My 1.0 came with a 5 speed gear box as standard. Its a 1989 GS. 3rd has a fair bit of pull and the 5th gear is quiet for the motorway.
