I've just been to a scrap yard near Wigan after a new wing and some other bits and they have 2 face-lift k11 micras in and one pre face-lift, all 3 door. Manual windows. very good prices if you get the parts off yourself. If anyone needs parts it's Gadbury Auto Salvage, 01942 874144.

Thanks SplanK, good account of what's needed to get starter off and on. I havnt even seen where it is yet, but yesterday I just got a 'clunk' when I turned the key. I'm fairly sure it's worn brushes as I replaced the tiny original battery with a bigger one from local scrapie (£15 + old battery)...

I have applied the T shaped rubber seal and it is all good as new. It was a bit tricky to get the rubber to go over the edge pf the handle esp around corners, but used a thin piece of flat plastix to pop if over the edge.

I have a loose driver side wiper spindle too (see photo) which makes the wiper screech when its on and rubs the top of bonnet, drives me crazy. Can this part be repaired? There are no breakers near me with a micra k11.

I have bought some T-type 7 x 5mm rubber strip, I will let you know how it works when i get it. It will leave a 5mm black rubber strip showing around the top of the handle, but if it stops water getting into the boot it'll do.

I noticed the tailgate handle was loose on my k11 (in UK) as shown in photos. When i took it off i found the rubber seal around the top was perished and hanging off. Whats it called, T-profile seal strip? Ive posted a picture of the end profile of the rubber that came out, it had glue on 1 side...

On closer inspection ibe found it is the spring clip not pushing the door out, the white plastic catch is working. I jave stuck a piece of rubber to the back of fuel door and wedged some folded up insulation tape behind the clip so it pushes more and opens the door about 2 inches now :-)

I have the same problem, stopped to fill up and pushed the lever down which used to release the filler cover latch and it would spring open about an inch. But suddenly not opening at all. Maybe i was/am lucky because i push the hinge side of the cover and it opens. Not ideal, but working for...

I have same issue getting into 3rd gear too. No other problem with gears, just needs a bit more force to engage 3rd. Ill get iy looked at when its in for the mot in a week or 2.

Hi everyone. Not asked a Q here before as isually i can find an answer. But i cant find out if my k11 should have a warning if you're not wearing a seatbelt? The lights (airbag etc) all come on initially and go off as they should, pic below. But if i dont put my seat belt on i could drive...
