FIXED: I have fixed this issue. I cut a hole in the perpendicular plastic ridge on the back of the trim to get a cable tie through. Then I put the cable tie around the hinge and pulled it tight. If i need to get it off ever i can get a blade in to cut the cable tie. Hope this helps someone with...

These resistor cards are not fit for purpose. Too much current goes through the thin tracks and they burn out. Im going to fix using 3 x 2 ohm 5Watt resistors. Im guessing 2ohm from all the info ive found about this circuit seems to be right.

Ok maarten, thank you. I saw a guide for changing milage on an analogue clock, but cant find one for the digital eeprom type. Im running eith the new clock in now, will figure out how to put correct milage on it soon, or just swap the eprom chips over.

Managed to get 2 x T10 LEDs in the heater control panel. Very tricky to do, i couldnt get my fingers in the dmall spaces in the dash. Eventually i got both LEDs in, looks good now, never had working heater lights before.

Put 2 blue T10 LEDs in the heater control panel and blue T5 LEDs in the speedo. Looks a lot better than normal bulbs in speedo and never had any lights in heater as both bulbs were blown before i got the car.

Im just doing this swap too. DIGITAL VERSION SPEEDO, facelift 2002 tempest. But i need to change milage as new rev cluster is about 40k miles more than my milage. Anyone know about swapping eeprom over from one to the other, or changing milage? Also does that chip effect NATS system? Thanks.

How do you get the control cables off the heater control panel? The cable sleeve seems to be very well secured to the unit in a plastic collar. Im trying to get to the bulb holders to replace the bulbs but those cables stop me from twisting it to get to second bulb.
