    Coolant expansion tank question.

Thank you. I drove 125m last week and it seemed to be fine. So I will keep this in mind for when I get the radiator system flushed.

    Coolant expansion tank question.

Thank you. I do have a jack. it's the original that came with the car when it was bought new. I'd really struggle with something like this as a first DIY job. But thank you for the info for future reference.

    Radio dead.

thank you. I currently have an aftermarket in, this is what has blown, so I am hoping this will already be present and just a straight swap, but I am worried I will blow something. Is it ESSENTIAL to remove the (-) from the battery before doing this?

Hi, first, thank you for taking the time to reply and being so helpful including the link and photos. I know absolutely nothing at all about car maintenance, and wouldn't know how to use a multimeter to check the power. Although I have used them in other situations I wouldn't know where to...

    Radio dead.

Found the fuse. labelled "Audio" it's 15A It looks in tact, not blown, a "new" radio is on the way, so I guess, the only thing is to change this for the "new" one and see. Thank you for your help.

    Coolant expansion tank question.

Have noticed what looks like sludge at the top of my expansion tank. Would this cause any issues or indicate any? I've drove without any issues 125m round trip and as always drove like a dream. Obviously checked coolant, oil, air etc on set off and return. This is how I noticed it. Thanks in...

Thanks!! (y) Was thinking that, when I was in local auto shop was told wire brushing MAY loosen the gasket??? I thought it sounded unlikely but as a novice wanted to check here first. I now have methylated spirit as couldn't find ISO, and I got GUNK (the metal tin brush on kind. I also have...
