Hey Frank, is there much difference in a 1.0 and 1.3 from '98? Is the one for a 1.3 larger? And, can the 1.3 be used as is on a 1.0 without changing anything? I know there is a thread somewhere, as I have seen it before.. just don't remember if there was any difference.

Just did a quick search, it was one of the first results... but any idea what size the rivet holes are? I don't think glue is strong enough. Should be reriveted or screwed together again.

Could be knackered linkages that are only binding at the lower speed, or as pollyp suggested about the contact wheel.. gotta be some way to test it with a multimeter or something without taking it apart first. Check the wires and connectors for corrosion before you start taking everything apart...

Check the connections for corrosion and good contact.. you may have water in a connection somewhere or so much corrosion that it is bridging two terminals, or lastly, a wire that is worn through and shorting out.

Had the rear seat out of mine(98gx) yesterday and found them under the carpet. One on each side.

I found 2 that were nearly identical but was attracted to the color of this one.. the other was silver, which isn't bad either, but it's really nice seeing this bright green car in the middle of a parking lot full of gray and black mercs and volvos :D

Pulled back seat yesterday and found a bit of water. Tightened up the back left window since it seemed a bit loose. I guess this is where all the water has been getting in. Will find out next time it rains hard.
