OK, I replaced the engine temperature sensor, and EVENTUALLY got her to start. Ran as rough as .......... a rough thing. After a 5 mile run? Sweet as anything. All sorted. Cheers Jools

A few miles later she's good as gold. Now to get the cage fitted! :p

Strut brace fitted, pipercross fitted, unfitted, fitted, unfitted.......... etc while trying to diagnose starting problem. I've got her started now, but she's running like a pig. Hopefully she'll start again after I've had a coffee!!

The pallet that delivered our cage, seats, runners, suspension, exhaust, harnesses etc only weighed 106kg. By the time the stock suspension & seats are removed, what weight is that? I'm going to try to find a weighbridge soon. Cheers Jools

Yes, that may be the easiest way. I just like making things neat! All the airbag kit is out now. Stopping the warning lamp coming on was fun, as it turns out we have a lovely mogrel of a car. Pre-coilpack engine, facelift body, and 2000+ wiring loom! Finally traced the correct wire, and shorting...
