there are a few chains on ebay supposed to be genuine at £74 go to euro car parts web site and there £174 I havent been able to find any others as yet but will keep looking

I think if im not mistaken the timing chains that nissan fitted were of an inferia quality and thats where all the problems arise. There is no way of knowing how long the repair will last as it would be dependent on the kit fitted: IE cheap and nasty kit equals timing chain problems again later...

had the same problem with mine did the canshaft sensor as thats what the fault code indicated car still runs crap so for me the timing chain needs done, as for a £1000 forget that you can buy the kit for £220 and someone from here would fit it for a reasonable fee, depending where your located...

there is also the stolen to order, if thats the case all parts would have been sold before car was stolen, I didnt steal cars but was privi to how and where they took them back in the 80,s around here, and from driving it in to been totally striped out was less than than it takes to have a good...

I used sunny looms and they fitted perfect into the micra shell, the only part that needed attention was when the clocks were connected up so what part of the loom is almera and what part is micra.

why you using almera loom, sunny looms fit perfect

get one from scrap yard and replace its workings with yours ie circuit board ect if its just the antenna then this should work

brackets arnt near spots there above so why the hole as I said I fitted bumper with black plastic bumper brackets overlap pics and see for your self, you can see in first pic the mounting holes and there above spots

I fitted it to the micra shape r reg bog standard, and the super s bumpers I remember had no brackets with them so I just used what I had, maybe I was lucky who knows but if you do have to cut or grind corner its no biggy it would take all of 2 mins

standard bumper super s bumper and im sure when i fitted it the brackets were missing so I used the ones off the micra shape without any cutting

cut the corners of what bracket? the ones I fitted 3 times now were just a straight bolt on job, super s bumpers are just deeper than standard the top section of the bumper is exactly the same as a standard one.

well if it is steel it wont rust from the inside out! I would give it a good clean and rub down with some 800 grit then 4 or 5 coats of hammerite
