No danger of bang then? Are the horn contacts easy to see and clean?

Mine has the airbag there to. Any danger of it gong off when removing the center assembly?

For some reason my horn push only works at the bottom now and only well on one side, neither top works and the middle only if you hit it hard. Has anyone else had this problem, how is it fixed? Cheers

I will jack where your arrow is asdame under the wishbone mount and support it under the chassis rail with my axle stands, where is where I normally jack it under the chassis rail.

Thanks for that I will jack up from the rear wishbone mount and support on the chassis rail, its the fronts I have always had problems with. Cheers mate.

I have never worked out where the jacking points are on my 98 Micra, the manual says under the sills and with a little diagram but when I check the car it doesn’t look strong enough to hold anything. Where exactly are the jacking points and best place for axles stands? Pictures would be great

I thought of doing my own oil change and thought better of it when I looked, I took it to Halfords for a £35 oil and filter change in the end much easier :-) So far the only job I found on a K11 that is awful is oil filter location.

In the end I found a better way, I got Halfords to do it for £35 :-) Not much more than if I did it myself and saves me messing about.

I must admit I didn't think there was enough room to get at it from the top, obviously I am wrong or my hand to fat lol.

Am I missing an easy technique to changing the oil filter on a K11 or is it in a awkward place? From what I see I would have to put the car on the car ramps, crawl underneath and put my hand past the hot exhaust and grapple with the oil filter removal tool to get it off. Then try and not get...

I have a 98 1.3 K11 which should have an oil change but which oil? In my Haynes manual it says 15/40 but I have read that it may to thick for it, it has only done 30k.

After three relays which were all the same I went to the scrappy and got another wiper motor for a tenner. That was what was wrong the wiper had stopped parking, I didn’t know the motor controlled that even. So the relays I got are fine and ended up with a brand new one too, oh well it had to...

I put a brand new relay on and it made no difference what so ever, it has to be the motor.

I have looked at the linkage and it is all perfect, the motor is silent and working sweetly as well. when I take the relay out I loose the little intermittent wipers I have so maybe it is just the relay and I have been unlucky in getting two dead second hands ones. I checked with Nissan again...
