all the wires that are needed for the HAWK need to be chopped and wired directly to HAWK. so injecots, maf, tps, ignition will be totally cut off from the stock ecu. You got the wiring diagram fro the HAWK so I can have a look and maybe give you some help. PM me if you wish.

if you put a turbo on it and map it with the ignition done properly it would be very fast defo faster then an un tuned car no doubt. a well tuned low budget car with less boost can feel adn drive faster then a car with higher boost.

My fuel was sorted somewhat as i had mapped upto 1 abr for safety via interpolation which somewhat covered me lol Got really scared and disconnect the actuator and sofrted the prob out.

thats true actually, I used knock sensors hooked to filter and amp and i never got no knock even at a 1.2 bar lol (faulty actuator) Ed's advice is spot on, i was just being overcautious as it's my daily car and need it to get to uni lol.

the egt allows you to see whats going on the engine, too much ignition will cause it get hot and you would be able to tell from excessive heat and as frank says too lean will make it hot as well. It's not something that is required but will add safety for you but the a/f meter is needed.

I thought you were using it for the stock ecu, If the hawk ecu has a built in wideband controller then fair enough it will work but if it doesn't then a controller is needed.

thats a wideband sensor, won't work with the stock setup. Needs a wideband controller as well. look at J.A.W fro a cheap one

doubt you would find a basemap for the HAWK system as it's nout used on the micra much. If you are going to do this yourself you should buy a wideband, egt gauge and a make a set of detcans. If you try this without atleast a wideband and det can it's not gonna be pretty.

are these the 1.6 ones almera ones? I have them on my car and new they wouldn't fit my car on 13" so i bought some 15" enkei's. I was told that 14" steels would fit, maybe because these are sunny calipers?

what do people define as a full tank though? Is it full to the brim? or like 35 litres or whatever it is to fill it? I fill up about 30 litres and get about 210 miles.

0.5 bar os 7.5 psi mate I would lower to 0.3 to be safe as you have no management and the stock map sensor will be going almost off the scale.
