Been finishing bits off, sealing perspex, cutting more stuff off, sorting electrical gremlins,& it has at last now got a drivers seat. gear box oil

Long time since I changed mine but seem to remember it taking just under 4 litres. You can use engine oil...and garden hose fits in the fill hole perfectly with a little funnel to pour in.Leave the drain plug out & pour a little fresh oil through to flush out the debris before refilling.Had...

To re-repair or not to re-repair?

Don't worry the filler will last forever provided the edges are sealed if it's the arch that was repaired & water cannot get in behind it.

To re-repair or not to re-repair?

Sounds like someones not noticed the low mileage when they've entered the mileage into HPI & added another zero... The rear quarter does not look bad in the picture.Run your hand around the inside of the arch & you may feel the extent of the amount of filler used. You could pull the interior...

    MOT passed, time for lowering

If you're worried about the tyre width you could use some secondhand 175 60 13,should be no more than £15 each from a secondhand tyre shop & they may take yours as part ex if they are good.Might even find them cheaper on E Bay.I used 185 60 13 and get slight rubbing on one side so need the...

Depends how far you want to go...Not that hard to tidy that up,I've dodged up worse  . Messiest job is getting rid of the underseal that's been slapped over it.(If that's what it is,hard to see properly)Needs to be gone because paint does not like it.Get it back to metal & fill to...

    PROject PROfect

Yes I used fibre glass paste for the first coat.First I drilled holes every 30mm-ish between the recesses in the moulding & sqished the paste through the holes to give it a good bond. You'll need a load of filler,I use the one by HB Body.Easy to use & rub down & under £20 for 5 litres..
