    Wanted - K11 Wheel Trims

I do have a set of those, but I can't remember the condition. I'll dig em out later on in the week and sneak a peak for you.

    K11 Hesitating in 5th, 60mph

The MAF is the mass air flow sensor, the thing you have to solder in the older throttlebodys. You should be able to get a fault code reading from any garage with a reader, which is most of them nowadays. You can also get them to flash up on the dashboard by connecting two pins on the plug they...

    Loss of Coolant

Remember that if it's empty and you fill it up, then that water has to go through the thermostat aswell, either by the little hole on it, or when it opens. But if you're topping it up, then it's a bit more of a mystery. Have you done a system pressure test, and checked the pressure on the rad...

    PistonHeads.com: Renault Twingo V8 Trophy

That's not even a new Twingo is it? That's the old one you could only get on the continent, because it's got the bonnet grills and circular headlights. So either the new one has too much safety #### in the way or can't be modded that easily, or they've been making that for a very long time...

17 inch alloys on micra ls

Far too big. Poor little engine, having to move all that rotational mass. Shudda gone 15's or 14's.

    White Dials

Remember that light has to come through them aswell, and they have to stick cleanly. Even though this thread is a year and a half old, I remember Nex did end up making some I believe, so he's the best person to go about this.

    K11 in video games?

Wasn't it GT2 you could play a Mk2 Ford Mondeo on as well? Sounds like the game with all the normal cars you could actually buy, instead of rediculous ones.

    Servicing My 1993 K11 Super S 1.3

10w-40 semi synth. I use Castrol Magnetax or whatever, some people use different stuff. Aslong as it's not some god awful crap you picked up for 99p for 10litres, then I'm sure whatever you buy will be fine.

PETITION Motorists Face Court Costs EVEN IF Not Guilty

Basically what olly said. Yeah, we are rich, but the state of our country doesn't reflect how rich we are.

PETITION Motorists Face Court Costs EVEN IF Not Guilty

The reason our country doesn't work is because, as i said, it's a self elected dictatorship. You vote in some people, they make up some laws and policys that you might or might not aggree with, and then put them in power, without any of the people that gave them their chance to do something...

PETITION Motorists Face Court Costs EVEN IF Not Guilty

As depressingy as it is, I've looked into it, and the only party who has any decent plans for the road system and transport system are the conservatives. And by decent, I don't mean making everything green, I mean, building new roads, transport links, etc etc.

PETITION Motorists Face Court Costs EVEN IF Not Guilty

Self elected dictatorship sums up our parlimentry system. Surely the police should be told to stop taking people to caught for outdated speed limits etc, instead of making innocent people pay for their innocence. It almost seems as though if you get a speeding ticket, and take it to court, and...

    sub wiring

It would be much easier with 4 speakers. Wire 2 parallel loops of 2 speakers in series. With 3 though, it starts getting complicated. Considering speakers work on AC, it gets even more confusing when you're not using the same power rails. Taking a stab in the dark, I would like to say 3ohm's...

PDA Stereo System in a Micra - Will it Work?

Personally, I think you'd be better of getting the PDA, and a headunit, with a 3.5mm jack or RCA in round the back of the headunit so you can hide the wires and make it a bit neater. Not for sound quality, but more for ease of use. My experience of owning 2 or 3 PDA's is they're a bit clumsy to...

PDA Stereo System in a Micra - Will it Work?

Why not just use a 3.5mm headphone jack to RCA cable, and get an amp with RCA inputs, like most of them? Then you run a +12v to the amp, an earth from the amp, and seperate wiring for each of the speakers? Do you plan on binning the headunit, and solely having a PDA, or keeping the headunit...

    concerning rattle......

Check the pre cat and down pipe to the second cat. We had a daewoo at work with similar problems, hesistant power, rattling noise when driving, and the pre cat had broken up, got wedged in the down tube and was blocking the main cat. Just a suggestion?

    Rallynuts

You realise you could probably get that filter from any motorfactors that sells K&N produce. You might have to wait a day of 2 for it to come in, but it's cheaper then waiting for weeks not knowing where it is, and paying excessive P&P.

ahh!!! insurance is so f-ing stupid

Try NFU Mutual. They wanted £500 for me to be insured on my mondeo, and directline wanted 1600. However, for a primera GT, directline want 1450, and NFU wanted 4k, so swings and roundabouts.
