Hiya, Someone on UJCC has a problem with their wife's Micra, and I said I'd ask on here about it, as you guys were all so knowledgeable when I had mine. :) Anyway, car is 1.0 W reg with 80k. The problem is Any ideas would be muchly appreciated.

Only way I found out my CV boot was gone, was when I had a tyre changed, hadn't got bad enough to affect the joint, just a bit of grease on the wheel. I still have a new CV boot floating round from my old K11.....yours for free if you want at, although I don't have the clips to go round it, so...

Stopping distance at 40 should be 9 car lengths according to the highway code, although I know that's a bit out of date now really. O.o Just glad cars and people weren't hurt.

I had some on my old Micra, they were a vast improvement. Keep meaning to get some for the Yaris, but I haven't got round to it yet.

How old are you? I presume you are a bloke considering you think the Micra's a bit girly. When I had my 1l, it was £250 to insure on my provisional at age 24 (but I am a girl which always helps).

What about a Nissan note? They look quite funky, and all the reviews I've read of them are excellent. I've just looked on the Autotrader and prices are around £8000 for a 2006 55 plate.

Yaris T-sport 5 door, although depending on your budget, you'd be lucky to find one less than £6000. (Yep, I had to get the T-sport in :rolleyes: )

That is what I do, treat it like my debit card....pay it off in full as soon as the bill comes. I have a "Sonycard" one, so I get points to get free Sony products too.

Hi, I need some help buying a Crimbo pressie for my o/h. I want to get him something for the car (Skyline), but I don'y know what. I've a budget of about £150-200. I can't ask on any other car forums, as he goes on most of the same ones as me. :wasntme: He already has Nismo carbon pillar...

There are loads on the DVLA website which are **** LOR for £250, eg N666 LOR, R500 LOR, or ones like V55 LOR for £300. J 7ORJ or T 7ORL are £250 if you can be clever with the letters. Or what about a plate starting LO51? If you can be clever with the screws on the plate again. :S
