The window is held in place on the rollers by mearly glue.... If you take your door card off you will probably see the window has broken out of the slot, some strong super glue should sort that out. Have had one snap on me before now though so not 100%.

Hmm..... I can only advise to check all gear linkages are secure (only two at the back of the engine) there easy enough to find with a jack. roll under the car behind the front wheels and then between the firewall and engine you will see the two rods, i had this problem with 4th but it was...
