thoughts on liquid to air intercooling

haha yeh definately a better alternative for the po-po, heaps of guys use them on 4x4's, mainly because they smash air to air cores when there hanging out the front of the car. great for offroad. i've heard water injection can severly damage valves/guides/pistons etc if not setup precisely...

thoughts on liquid to air intercooling

dont get too excited, just giving my 2cents. what majiga has in mind is a great idea. just heaps of stuffing around for not much benefit, unless its gonna be a dedicated drag racer, then you could just build a box around the cooler, fill it with dry ice and ya beers. big ass shiny front mount...

thoughts on liquid to air intercooling

seems like a massive effort for very little benefit, the only one i can think of is shorter intercooler piping. barrel coolers are really only ever used in drag cars as like said the water gets hot quick. micra's don't have a tendancy to get hot, even when turbo'd, and even with the stock...

    BC Coilovers

yeh, i dunno what the go there was. my set was completely different to yours. even with similar spring rates to what i had in my red car to yours, yours still felt very soft, and kinda panzy lol. like the shock was too soft for the spring. my bcrews go from soft as to rock hard :S need stiffer...

    BC Coilovers

don't be a girl man, you said your bcrews were hard as a rock. they felt like stock suspension to me. harden up and put some 15kg's in there lol. imo, around 9front 7rear on the swifts is good for a daily, but too soft for the track.

    My little beast

kinda really depends how much your going to rev it, what the car is going to be used for, what sort of breather system, how much boost, etc. if its going to be track, baffled sump, etc

    My little beast

looks mint, shoulda tidied up the manifold a bit before coating, looks a little diy with the mig welds on it compared to the intake. will be quite responsive with the m7960 on it! i'm a fan "like" lol

stalling in neutral (and more) and brake lights always on problem

probably not. theres a rubber/plastic grommet in the brake pedal. this normally pushes the brake switch in, when you depress the pedal the switch releases and activates the brake lights. over time these grommets get hard and brittle and break away leaving a perfect size hole that the brake...

    Nismo Brake Cylinder Stopper?

+1, i have a nismo rollcage in my micra. bars and cross braces all over the place. took 4 people on each bar to smack them into place. instantly noticed a mass difference in the chasis. for one, whole car is whisper quite. no more creaks and growns, felt like a new car when i put it in. on the...

    Noob Question, Sorry guys

ive used a patch harness from a s series chasis car in the past, plugged straight in and allows you to wire in a aftermarket ecu without touching any wiring on the car at all. just checked and s15, s14 series 2, s14 series 1 sr20de, pulsar gtir, s13 sr20de/t ecu's all plug straight into the...

    Nismo Brake Cylinder Stopper?

lol. so true. i've never noticed a difference between a master cylinder stopper or braided brake lines for that matter either. track or street. ditto for strut braces. weld in cage ftw

    Noob Question, Sorry guys

haha. when i was at the shop used to use them all the time. imo the best budget ecu. and if your on a real budget and your setup is relatively basic the stingers work really well too. weeks better then a microtech anyway. :) that said i've got a link g4 in one of my cars, and that seems to work...
