    Turboing a Stock 1.3

Hi Micrallica, This has been discussed before on the forums and the general concensus from Turbo owners seems to be that for a standard motor 6-7psi should be OK with proper fuel & engine management. I recommend you check out the specifications of micras owned by "AAron" and "Family Hack" on...

Hi LWC, thanks for the info !. Very useful indeed, I will give this a try myself.

    Sunroof cleaning

Hi Toma, yes the gap is quite small but hopefully just wide enough at the back to get your hand and arm inside.... or perhaps you have a little brother or sister with small hands/arms that can help ?. Worth a try anyway.

    Driving Lights

Hi Toma, The standard Super S driving lights only switch on when the headlights are switched to "high beam". The do not come on at "low beam" or when the 'parking lights' are on.

    My cargo tray

Hi Cisco, That looks excellent. You have cut the shape very neatly indeed around the wheel arches etc. May i suggest some sort of strap or clip at the end that lifts up to stop the floor bouncing around over bumps ?

    Driving Lights

Hi Toma, As you have a Super S it should be fairly easy.... there shoul be wiring behind the bumper for driving lights already. Placement/size/style is really a matter of personal taste.... I personally reckon some small round ones would be the way to go in a similar position to the standard...

    Sunroof cleaning

Hi Toma, I would suggest openning the sunroof in tilt mode, closing the "blind" then using a step ladder to get up high so you can vaccum(using a narrow tip) and/or reach in through the gap to wipe from above. A bit of stuffing around but probably easier than dismantling.

a couple of pics of tictac's boot

Hi "TicTac", that looks awesome !. A very professional looking job, very neat and tidy. Autosalon type quality. I guess the floor lifts up for access to the spare wheel ?.

    Blue car progress

Hi Cisco, perhaps you could find a way to attach some detachable plastic hubcaps to your alloy wheels and have the best of both worlds... ;) Good luck with the Transport Dept. I would be very surprised if the inspector noticed the car ever had an ABS system. They just seem to focus on the...

Your vote: bubble lights or existing red/clear lights

Hi Cisco, It's all a matter of personal taste but I prefer the red/white lights on your car rather than the bubble ones. The bubble ones are a bit "bling bling" for me. While the red/white ones look classy (well in my opinion anyway).

    WANTED K11 manual gearbox asap

Hi Koguchi, I know "Jammin" got is replacement from "A1 Nissan Spares" in Brisbane. They will probably be able to supply a replacement unit. Also "Yom" has mentioned in the past there are a couple of Micras at a wreckers in Sangate.

    Dyno tomorrow

Hi Cisco, Good luck with the dyno tune... Yes, I agree there is only so far you can reasonably go and still remain a sensible road car. Power isn't useful if you can't get it to the ground.... it also isn't everything on the track or the road !. The thing I really like about "Blue Monster" is...

DEPO Crystal headlights: pictures of the lighting at night

Hi Yom, Yes that's very bad... very dangerous indeed !. Not only for yourself (not being able to see things on the LH side of the road) but these lights would also dazzel drivers of oncoming cars. My advice would be to take these lights off ASAP and just keep them for daylight/show use.

    FS mini lites

Very nice wheels. I sure these would look really good on a Micra. I suspect these are not actually original/genuine "mini-lights" but an Australian made replica from a company called "Performance Wheels" ?. www.performancewheels.com.au

    Hurricane 4-2-1 extractors ?

Hi Toma, Hurricane extractors are made by Liverpool exhaust in Sydney(www.liverpoolexhaust.com.au). I believe they cost around $400-450 + freight. There seems to be a big custom car scene in Perth, so I am sure you will be able to find a local Exhaust place that could make you something...
