If you have access to another K11 you could trace the wire to make sure where it goes. This is what I did for my JDM K11 that had the same problem as yours, i.e. no wire in loom for connecting ECU to rev counter. All other JDM I know about have been plug & play.

40 pounds plus 5 pound postage was more than I was expecting to see somebody pay. Especially as the cup holder makes the cubby hole so small it's fairly useless. As far as I've noticed, this is standard fitment to upper spec models. Prefer the dash top option.

The superturbo will have easily accessable fault codes. If the plug is the same then the codes & procedure are the same. If it's different, the codes & procedures from CA16DE powered N13 & CA18DET powered U12 would be good to check, as would the Figaro but that's likely to be Japanese only...

There is a switch on the handbrake handle. Could be some foreign object down there or more likely the handbrake mounts are tearing away from the floorpan. Weld it up & don't yank on the handle so hard in the future.
