Is time travel in a Delorean actually possible?

I thought there were at least some factory RHD deloreans? Too expensive for my garage.

    Reverse Switch

Haven't heard of this one before. I'd be guessing dodgy bulb, plug, wiring or earth connection first.

    How much BHP

For the sort of revs required from a 1.6L or smaller engine to produce 180hp normally aspirated, it can't have been a GA, a CA16DE would but then I'd just use the CA18DE or maybe CA20 block with CA18DE head. Did it have red rocker covers? The CA has a different bellhousing bolt pattern to CG/GA...

    Rust removal

My '94 jap spec has bits of surface rust on the rad support, nothing serious yet, the metalic paint is thin, like the paint at the rear of the roof, under the hatch. My '97 jap facelift is white & paint is thick everywhere, no signs of rust. I've seen rust in rear doors of another early K11...

    How much BHP

There is a NA CG motor used in a RWD datsun rally car over here that revs past 10,000rpm & puts out somewhere around the 200bhp mark. Got a feeling it's a CG10 to keep within whatever displacement rules there are for it's class.

cvt - need a new one?

So learn, assuming your feet & hands function normally? The CVT shafts & CV's are supposed to match the RS5F31V Refer EVLGTI's K11. It's a simple bit of wiring to connect the reverse lights

converting to 4x114.3 PCD at fronts.

There are some other Nissans to consider, parts ex Japan: P10 & P11 Primera S13 Silvia S14 & S15 non turbo Silvia (although some of these are possibly 5 stud from factory) Some budget Skylines, Laurel etc. Wide rims for 100x4 are available. EVLGTI is still 100x4, front drive 352kW at wheels...

    2009 Micra/March & new March R turbo

I read through many different articles, forums & nissan media releases, that was one of them. I didn't see much relivance with the test mule, it's clearly a K12 & the K13 will be built on a totally new platform. Sure it's probably powered by one of the new motors & it may have the radiator &...

    2009 Micra/March & new March R turbo

It's got to be better than what GM, Chrysler & Ford can offer right now.

    2009 Micra/March & new March R turbo

K12 is only built in UK & Japan, correct? I'd anticipate Australia & NZ would probably source K13 from Thailand, just like Navara.

    2009 Micra/March & new March R turbo

Has anybody stumbled over this yet? To date there are 4cyl HR15DE & HR16DE engines, both sharing a 78mm bore. I am guessing the HR12DE shares this 78mm bore & the 83.6mm stroke of the HR16DE, giving an 1198cc capacity. If the HR10DE used the 78mm bore, it would have a 69.6mm stroke, much...

    k12 Micra for sale

In the UK the K12 gets the HR16DE motor. Pulsar had a SR16VE in Japan ten years ago... In Japan K12 gets/got the HR15DE, CR14DE, CR12DE, CR10DE, with only the latter two getting 5spd manual, all the rests are either auto or more likely CVT. Something japan has got are 2 door versions, which I...

    finding an O2 sensor

The symbol on the dashboard might be the cat overheat light? I've seen it come on when a K11 had some serious MAF problems.

    finding an O2 sensor

Unplug your O2 sensor. Engine runs fine without O2 sensor but will use about 10% more petrol. If the problem goes away then it's faulty. If not, it's probably the throttlebody, especially the AFM board & idle control.

    distributer

It's common for the coil to die, it may still give a spark, but it'll be weak. I think there's a power transistor & the angle sensor that can go as well. Easiest way to eliminate it as a problem is to temporarily swap in a known good dizzy from a mates K11.

    Relays beside battery

On my JDM, starting from the front of the car, they are Radiator Fan 1 Radiator Fan 2 CVT Air Con There might be a couple of gaps between them, I just read the markings on the cover. Mine isn't CVT thou, so that might be all that were ever fitted.
