To be fair it sounds like you have rulled out everything else and that the cables have had it, prob stretched tbh. Make sure you get ones for disc's as the drum cables are longer iirc

Get a bag from a Bluebird, its what they use for the rear washer. I used it on my S13 when the front mount pipework ment it had to go.

FYI HID kits are going to illegal on any car not fitted with headlamp washers and self leveling headlamp suspension, ie you go up the lamps go down.
