Pretty much any beam bender that is compatible with clear glass will do, Nissan supply them 99998-75009 £5.40. They aling with a small dot molded on the face of the glass (plastic), should be something like a small circle with cross hairs in it or similar and follow the instructions on the back...

It sounds like the boot switch is faulty, i think that's whats meant when reading about the boot. Try 25380-AX10B for the keyless switch and that should resolve the problem, its another common fault on the K12's.
