Stani helped me (again!(Y)) to get rear calipers and carriers, so finally, it's gonna happen, the SR will be up and running asap....MOT, tax, insure, then lightly modify!! :p

Sooo, made and fitted my de-cat at the weekend, and it is bloody loud! Not sure if it makes any performance difference but it definitely makes me drive like an utter cock just to hear the noise :p also had the headlights fly-eyed courtesy of Stani, painted the wheels again, so it's just that...

The easiest way to a fully functioning mirror is a replacement mate...pop the cover off the inside, undo three screw/bolts, throw the knackered one as far as you can and refit the working one you got earlier from the local scrappy in a reversal of removal fasion! :p other wise spend ages opening...

How do man, and welcome...i'm no expert, but with a bit of luck you could just have a worn down key profile, (144k might do that!) and a flat battery! Do you have a spare key, and in what way does the car not start if you turn the key quickly? Does the key still turn, or does it get stuck mid turn?

Yeah, i had (still have intermittantly) a slight stalling/lumpy idle issue when i first start the car from cold, so i switched to stock stuff to see if that helped...it didn't so i just live with the spluttery start on cold mornings eh :p

Definitely a difference! The acceleration felt "strangled" with the stock stuff on, there was much less response when you plant it...and a couple of of flat spots too :p

Well, my first time driving at Crail...i got a little bit quicker every run bar one, 200ths of second slower than the one before :p Annoyed though, my last run was the quickest...but i was asleep at the start... a 1.205 reaction time, and 17.098 1/4 time. Next time i'm getting into the 16's...

Bummer Sam, try again as soon as...you'll get it next time! :p

Got my manifold back on, and the throttlebody, injectors, F.P.R, and ecu back in, such a difference!:grinning: Some steelies to stick on, and i'll take it to Crail on Sunday, see how it does :p
