Well it's decided to start and run fine now. So god knows what it was.

nope all fuses are fine.

Tanks full. He's just had the stuff off the top of the tank to check if anythings loose or broken but he's not seen anything.

now its cut out and wont start at all, any ideas? could it be dirt in the fuel or blocked filter?

My brothers 97 1.0l micra nearly cuts out everytime he turns a left hand corner. There is a problem with the fuel guage which I think could be the sender unit, could this be the cause of both problems? Or is there something else majorly wrong with it? Thanks
